My mother, Aruna (Dutt) Shah lived for 68 years. She was married to a gregarious, influential and very-much-in-the-public eye educator. She raised two children. No one wrote a word about my mother during her lifetime and though she was beloved by many, her life was never celebrated, even by her children. It’s never too late.
